Gemeente Amsterdam – Renovation Piet Heintunnel

To show the complicated renovation of the Piet Heintunnel, Gemeente Amsterdam asked I-MOR to report a tour that was offered to partners and employees that work at either Siemens Mobility, Heijmans or Gemeente Amsterdam.

The tour takes us from the old tunnel tubes for cars entering and exiting the city center of Amsterdam to the emergency cabinets and the service tube where all cables and installations will be replaced. Tram 26 remains operational during the renovation which gives the builders some complicated technical challenges as to be seen in the video.

The video I-MOR created will be used as an informational video for residents affected by the renovation and is shared on all social media channels of Gemeente Amsterdam to make sure everyone knows what’s done in the year that the Piet Heintunnel will be closed for traffic.
